Debolina Saha

Debolina Saha is a dual qualified senior international capital markets lawyer and is the Internship Bank’s founder. She completed her law degree from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, India and a master’s in international policy and practice degree from the Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University, U.S.A. At the Elliott School she was an Elliott School Graduate Fellow and an Elliott I/WE Fellow and recently Debolina was awarded the Global Ambassador Fellowship by the Global Freedom Group.

Debolina is currently employed with the International Finance Corporation (a World Bank Group) in Washington D.C., U.S.A, as a Global Portfolio Officer (LIBOR Transition) and has previously worked for (among others) Dorsey and Whitney (Hong Kong), Allen & Overy (Hong Kong), Ashurst (London) and Amarchand Mangaldas (India).

 A first-generation lawyer herself, she also knows just how much an organization like the Internship Bank would have meant to her during her professional journey.

An avid traveler, animal lover and a cooking and reading enthusiast, Debolina has always been close to social issues. She previously volunteered at the Blind Relief Association, New Delhi, India and continues to be invited as a guest lecturer to various Indian law schools and to judge international student competitions.
